We discussed Gerdau Ameristeel as recently as April 1st/09. The above chart shows how it has fared using a strategy with one entry point and two targeted exit points. GNA is currently trading at 5.70 - a 50% rise from its entry point at 3.80 17 days ago. It is important to have two targeted exit points with each position. An upside sell target and a downside sell target for protection. Given current market volatility, this "trailing stop" is calculated as 20% below it's current price, replacing the original stop at a new recent low.
